Accommodation at Ambalo House, Forest Lodge, Hout Bay, South Africa

Ambalo House is a self-standing, two bedroom cottage, offered for self-catering accommodation. It is located at Forest Lodge, in the leafy and secluded area of Victor's Kloof, in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. Ambalo House offers high-quality, private, spacious accommodation for four people, away from the noise and bustle of city centre life, but within easy striking distance of all of Cape Town's attractions. The cottage presents a panoramic view across Hout Bay, encompassing the spectacular Chapman's Peak drive, the Sentinel which guards the southern side of Hout Bay, all the away across to Kommetjie lighthouse. Ambalo House and Forest Lodge are family-friendly and children are welcome. Should accommodation be required for more than four people, Ambalo House can be joint booked with Amani House, which also offers comfortable accommodation for four people. Amani House is separated from Ambalo House by a short stretch of open ground, and the houses' balconies are just about visible from one another. This arrangement offers a good combination of privacy and company.

Facilities Ambalo house comprises: Double-bedroom, with bathroom/toilet en-suite. Twin (two single beds) bedroom, with shower/toilet en-suite. Open-plan kitchen and lounge area. Large balcony verandah with panoramic views. Parking for several vehicles. A large lawn area (ten by twenty-five metres). The following facilities are available in Ambalo House: TV and video recorder (VHS). Radio/CD player. Refrigerator. Gas stove and oven. Microwave oven. Barbeque. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, etc. Bedding and towels. Baby cot on request. The following facilities are available on the property at Forest Lodge: Swimming pool (~ eight metres). Large garden with pathways to explore. Laundry and ironing facility by arrangement (no extra charge). Baby-sitting by arrangement. Rates

Note that rates are given per cottage per day, regardless of the number of persons. Both Amani House and Ambalo house have bedding for four people. Extra persons can be accommodated only by prior arrangement, and a surcharge may apply. Rates include servicing Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please enquire for long-stay discounts.
